# Common tasks

> Templates for the tasks teams hand over most. Copy one, swap in your page or topic, and send it.

Every template below comes in two parts, because a task does: a **title** that names the job, and a **description** that says how to do it. Paste them into the matching fields. Swap the URL, keyword or topic for yours, and leave the rest, since the wording is doing real work.

## Templates for the work teams send most

### Fix the gaps on one page

Send it to **CMO**. You need a URL that already has flagged opportunities in [Pages](/agents/pages). You get research, an audit, and the rewritten sections applied to a CMS draft.

```text title="Task title" theme={"system"}
Fix the flagged gaps on https://example.com/your-page
```

```text title="Description" theme={"system"}
Research the pages currently ranking and cited for this page's target queries.
Audit the title, meta description, headings, schema and E-E-A-T signals
against them. Then write the missing content and apply the changes. Keep the
existing URL and internal links.
```

### Refresh a page that's losing citations

Send it to **CMO**. You need a URL and the prompt or query it used to win. You get a diff-level rewrite of the sections that stopped getting cited.

```text title="Task title" theme={"system"}
Refresh https://example.com/your-page for AI search
```

```text title="Description" theme={"system"}
Compare this page against the answers currently cited for "your target
prompt". Identify which sections lost citations and why. Rewrite those
sections so the page answers the question directly and early. Leave the
sections that are still working alone.
```

### Find internal link opportunities into one page

Send it to **SEO/GEO**. You need a target URL and its topic. You get a ranked list of candidate pages, each with proposed anchor text and the exact sentence the link belongs in.

```text title="Task title" theme={"system"}
Internal link opportunities pointing to https://example.com/your-page
```

```text title="Description" theme={"system"}
Find pages on our site that are topically related to this page and could
naturally link to it. For each candidate, propose a contextual anchor text and
the specific sentence or section where the link fits. Prioritize pages with
higher authority or traffic, and avoid forced or low-relevance placements.
```

<Frame caption="The deliverable from that task. Each candidate page comes with its URL, why it was picked, and where the link goes.">
  <img src="https://mintcdn.com/writesonic/DNhoXkvgtobPwX9I/images/agents/task-artifact.webp?fit=max&auto=format&n=DNhoXkvgtobPwX9I&q=85&s=239886b126c74113488c03433214efda" alt="A task artifact listing internal link candidates, each with a URL, priority signal and placement" width="881" height="654" data-path="images/agents/task-artifact.webp" />
</Frame>

### Add an FAQ section from People Also Ask

Send it to **Content**. You need a URL and its target keyword. You get an FAQ block written to match the questions people actually ask.

```text title="Task title" theme={"system"}
Add an FAQ section to https://example.com/your-page
```

```text title="Description" theme={"system"}
Pull the People Also Ask questions for "your target keyword" and pick the ones
this page can answer credibly. Write a concise answer for each, in our voice,
and append them as an FAQ section. Don't repeat answers already covered in the
body.
```

### Turn a video into a blog post

Send it to **Content**. You need a public video URL. You get an SEO-optimized draft in your CMS.

```text title="Task title" theme={"system"}
Turn https://youtube.com/watch?v=your-video into a blog post
```

```text title="Description" theme={"system"}
Transcribe the video, then structure it as an article rather than a
transcript. Keep the specific examples and numbers from the video. Add a
title, headings, an intro that states the takeaway, and internal links to
related pages on our site.
```

### Create the images for a post

Send it to **Design**. You need the post URL or draft, plus a Brand Kit with your logo and colors. You get a featured image and social variants.

```text title="Task title" theme={"system"}
Create the featured and social images for https://example.com/your-post
```

```text title="Description" theme={"system"}
Use our logo and brand colors from the Brand Kit. Produce one featured image
at 1200x630 and one square variant for social. Keep the composition simple
enough to stay readable as a thumbnail.
```

### Find where competitors are cited and you aren't

Send it to **Research**. You need nothing beyond your connected AI visibility data. You get the prompts, the answers, and who's getting cited in your place.

```text title="Task title" theme={"system"}
Find prompts where competitors are cited and we aren't
```

```text title="Description" theme={"system"}
Go through our tracked prompts and list the ones where a competitor is cited
but we aren't. For each, show the prompt, what the answer says, and which page
of theirs got cited. Group them by topic so I can see where the gap is
concentrated.
```

### Rank every page by what it's worth fixing

Send it to **CMO**. You need Search Console and Analytics connected. You get a shortlist with reasons, not a full-site dump.

```text title="Task title" theme={"system"}
Rank our pages by business impact and give me the ten to fix this week
```

```text title="Description" theme={"system"}
Use traffic, conversions, current position and AI visibility together. For
each of the ten, say what's wrong and what the fix is. Skip pages where the
fix is not worth the effort, and tell me why you skipped them.
```

## Repeat any of these across many pages

Once a template works on one page, it shouldn't be retyped. Save it as a [playbook](/agents/playbooks), then run it as a [grid](/agents/grids) with one row per page. Review happens per row, so a bad row doesn't hold up the rest.

## More tasks, in short

These follow the same shape. Write the title, then a description that says what to do and what to leave alone.

| Task                                                                                            | Send it to |
| ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | ---------- |
| Review this page's schema markup, generate an improved version, and apply it | SEO/GEO |
| Show me pages sitting on page two of Google and push them to page one | SEO/GEO |
| Run a technical audit and list broken and non-indexable pages                                   | SEO/GEO    |
| Check whether everything we published last month actually got indexed | SEO/GEO |
| Find pages cannibalizing each other, and pages declining in rank, with the reason | SEO/GEO |
| Show me which past changes actually moved citations, so I know what to scale | SEO/GEO |
| Write a first-draft content brief for this page, one version per audience segment | Content |
| Translate these product pages into Spanish from the attached CSV | Content |
| Write the full post from this CSV of study data, with charts, images and internal links | Content |
| Take this product photo and place it in a different setting | Design |
| Scrape our competitors' blogs for new product releases | Research |
| Flag AI answers about us that are factually wrong, checked against our knowledge base | Research |
| Give me this week's AI visibility report, limited to these prompts | Research |
| Show our share of voice with branded prompts excluded | Research |
| Show every AI answer with negative sentiment about us, with the question, response and citation | Research |

## Send each task to its owner

Send one artifact to its specialist. Send a list of artifacts, or work that needs research before anyone can start, to [the CMO agent](/agents/choosing-an-agent).

## Some requested workflows aren't available yet

These aren't available today.

* Turning a webinar recording into a blog post, social posts and short videos
* Outreach that emails authors to ask them to add you to their article
* Monitoring journalist requests and sending an approved reply
* Self-updating dashboards you build by describing them in chat
* Publishing changes to existing static pages, as opposed to creating new CMS drafts
